Our Driver Training programmes are for those wishing to pursue a career as a chauffeur* and for existing chauffeurs wishing to sharpen up their skills and obtain certification of extended instruction.

The courses are also available for Nannies** to help keep the children in their care as safe as possible on our busy roads.

Police Driving Instructors

All of our trainers are former Police Driving Instructors with full Approved Driving Instructor accreditation and our training is based on the Police Training Method. Our instructors have trained many people over the years, including serving police officers, VIPs and dignitaries.

Such is the reputation of our Driver Training that we have previously been invited to create a full driver training package for the Trinidad and Tobago Police. Our instructors travelled to the country and implemented our full training programme including Train The Trainers.

Minimum Requirements

* As a minimum requirement all applicants for our chauffeur courses must have passed the motor car Advanced Motorist Test set by The Institute of Advanced Motorists or a standard Police Driving Course.

** Our courses for Nannies are subject to the applicant having held a Full British Driving Licence for at least 12 months.

On the Road Training

The most important part of a Chauffeur Driving Course should always be about being taught how to drive smoothly and safely, not just reading how to do it out of a book. Unlike some chauffeur training companies, our Driver Training programmes actually provide you with on the road training as well as important theory training in a classroom setting.

You will be instructed in driving your car smoothly and safely on a variety of roads including motorways, be taught how to give a commentary on what you see ahead of you and your driving will reflect that of the Roadcraft system of car control. You will also be put through a vigorous set of disciplines on our skid pan which will test your car control to the limit.
